Documenting communities to show young people that you don’t have to fit into sport – sport should fit you. Nike’s ‘How We Do’ series is about breaking down barriers.

Working with Nike and We Are Pi we produced the first episode of their long-form content series ‘How We Do’, documenting a group of young black women as they tried out boxing for the first time – as part of Nike’s drive to encourage young people to take up sport.
Throughout the film they discuss the barriers they faced – such as a lack of role models and the education system in the UK failing to prioritise girl’s sporting interests.
After a boxing challenge and an inspirational chat with British Olympic sprinter Dina Asher-Smith, the women comment on how empowered they felt by taking part in sport, united, as a group.
